This is our favorite amplifier for high power Harley systems. With 800 watts of power and 4 channels of output this amplifier can be dedicated to just the fairing speakers so that the horns have their own level adjustment or it can be configured to run both the fairing speakers as well as rear speakers. In either configuration there is more than enough power on tap to reach well into insane output levels. This amplifier is very different from other amplifiers that claim the same type of power levels. The HXM800.4D has a lower noise floor, balanced inputs, and a much more refined internal power supply that is friendly to your bikes charging system and keeps high frequency distortion away from the speakers that we so commonly see in other amplifiers on the market.

Installation Note: This amplifier fits perfectly under the radio and above the headlight using the included amplifier mounting pad. The front two plastic tabs on the headlight must be trimmed off for clearance. These two tabs are there to hold the factory wire harness in place and are not structural in any way. 12db Crossovers Add a Lot to Performance and Reliability. Most all horns on the market come with 6db caps for crossovers. Those type of crossovers have a lot of problems though. The sound of a horn using just a cap changes dramatically with volume, making it impossible to tune your system to sound equally as good at high volume as lower volumes. Installation Notes: The factory fairing speaker pods must be modified slightly using a heat gun in order to make clearance for the woofer magnet inside the pod. This is a very simple procedure.
