This should ideally be done at a Harley Davidson dealership - though i t is NOT ESSENTIAL to unplug the throttle sensor during the fitment of this item! A Harley Davidson dealership ECM recalibration MAY BE REQUIRED ANYWAY depending on other modifications including'stage 1' and or'fuel management' systems. Restrictor Kit location: Inside inlet rubber(s), between carburettor(s) and cylinder head(s). MOTORCYCLE TRAINING SCHOOLS PLEASE NOTE. For approval of the `Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency` (DVSA), `Department For Transport` (DFT) and `Road Safety Authority` (RSA).

Where an individual machine has been restricted to comply with the minimum test vehicle requirements it will be accepted for test providing certified proof of compliance or restriction is available for the examiner. Or on headed paper from an official source such as a main dealer, official importer or. Recognised specialist in restricting vehicles. Dyno certificates are not acceptable. A four part certificate of Fitment is supplied with every `Kickstart Engineering` Restrictor Kit.

`Kickstart Engineering` is a recognised specialist in restricting vehicles. The Certificate of Fitment provided is a 4 part carbon copy document for the fitter to complete.

Fill in vehicle details, date of fitment etc ONCE - make 4 copies. Copy 1 White copy - Customer / Rider / Training School copy. Recommended to laminate and keep safe (possibly under the bike seat). Copy 2 Blue Copy - Insurers copy.

For you to forward to your insurer upon request. Copy 3 Green Copy - Fitters copy. Some fitters retain this copy for their own records - (non mandatory). Copy 4 Yellow Copy - Register for Guarantee copy. Once registered, replacement or duplicate Certificates of Fitment will be issued FREE OF CHARGE upon request. `Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency` (DVSA), `Department For Transport` (DFT) and the `Road Safety Authority` (RSA). WHEN FITTED AND SIGNED OFF BY A `RECOGNISED MOTORCYCLE MECHANIC`. The Restrictor Kit must be installed by a COMPETENT PERSON to ensure correct fitment and operation.
