1956 Harley-Davidson Street

This is a 56 cubic inch flat head engine. This engine even has aluminum heads. It was Harley Davidsons answer to the BSA Gold Star.

Harleys next bike was an overhead valve sportster. This bike has 2 mags. The original and a special custom Morris mag mounted on the bike. It is a custom cnc aluminum impulse mag.

Morris made me this mag to give the bike a perfect spark supply. Impulse mags are common of air planes which allows them to be prop started. With an impulse mag spark is not dependent on cranking speed.

With this mag full spark is generated with the slowest kick. The original mag and all parts are in a box and go with the bike. This bike runs and can be driven.
